In this class i learned how to type correctly how to blog and how to use PowerPoint like a professional. I like all of it, although if the typing would've been spaced out it would've been easier to get a grip on it. And honestly the only thing you should change is the amount of time for typing like you could do it every Monday. Or i don't know i mean it is your class but that would help get the subject through with giving our hands a break. but this whole quarter has been great its a fun class. we get to do alto of fun projects or maybe that's just because i know so much about technology already.

Last night was the series finale to the tv show ARROW. It ended with a fight between ARROW and the guy who was an archer just like arrow. Well actually after the fight arrow barley made it out alive. He ended up jumping out the window and calling his buddy and telling him, "help...". Then they went back to the christmas party they had been at earlier and his friend asked if he was going to stop being arrow. And Oliver(arrow) said as long as there are people out there like him ive got to be stronger faster more skilled and then it ended.

I would go through the door to hogwarts. Because i mean its a school to become a wizrd for crying outloud. And because narnia is nothing more than a story with a talking lion. And middle earth is to dangerous for a thirteen year old. but i mean who dosnt want to play quiditch, And fight dragons, And learn how to levitate objects, fly on a broom etc. But ya it would be cool to be in narnia i mean with the danger and training and all. But wonderland is just something else i mean bunny rabbits that are late and an evil queen who likes to scream off with their heads. Ya no i would much rather be a wizard who can fend for himself in the realworld.

The choir concert was cool. We all prepared really hard and from what people have told me it turned out really good. Im a bass. It was only 40 minutes. All I can say is mr.zustiak is a good choir teacher.

On the night of DEC. 4th i was out and having a good time with some old friends. Well when i came home something had already seemed off the garage had been missing the rake the leaf blower and the vacuum cleaner. Well i was all ready for bed my eyes were literally shut when i walked in the front door, but i knew this house like the back of my hand. But when i went to lay down it kinda seemed like the back of my hand grew some pimples or some thing because i fell straight on my back. So i opened my eyes and saw nothing nothing at all. So i called the police and they said they only found one piece of useless evidence they had also mentioned leaving it on the counter. Well when they left I realized the piece of evidence was a box of pins from my mortal enemy.

this christmas I want

This christmas i want one of a few things. I either want a proffesional camera becuase they were so cheap on black friday, or a new laptop my old one is to small and is very slow, a new phone or a dog.
I would want the camera because i love photography. id want the laptop because on  my birthday my brother gave me his old pro-tools software that cost him 700 dollars and i feel like its going to waste just sitting there. Id like a new phone because mine is out of date and gets viruses alot. And id like a dog because well i mean who dosnt want a dog theyre fun loving animals so you know there great pets to have. Thats what i want for christmas.

For my first Thanksgiving as host, I bought the biggest turkey they had in the store. I invited my entire family. They all said they would bring food for the dinner. My sister would bring the potatoes. my grandmother would bring the stuffing, and uncle tony and Jeff would bring the green beans. Well on thanksgiving morning i woke up with a terrible head ache but still had to put the turkey in the oven and took some medicine. So as i was sitting on the couch watching TV i started to doze off to sleep. When i woke up to the sound of the fire alarm i jumped up and took out the turkey to my surprise the medicine i had taken was not non drowsy as i thought it was. And when the family called and said they'd be over in 20 minutes i did what any reasonable man would do threw some burgers on the grill. And when they arrived they all were surprised to find the smell of burgers and not turkey so i shrugged and smiled and they didn't seem to care. and that's why we all ate hamburgers.

This weekend my dog ran away. his name is Rosco and hes a black lab. i was really sad about it. well it started out on Sunday when i got up for church and i took a shower and could tell it was gonna be a bad day. i saw my friends like Kayla and Smitty that's what we call him. but then josh wasn't there another bad thing. so then we dropped off the last person on the bus and then Dave's (my moms boyfriend) friend called and said Rosco wasn't around so Dave and i went out to the house and looked around for a while and quit then we got home around 1 and Brandon came over around 2 and we talked and played black ops zombies for 2 hours then we went for a walk. we talked about our favorite kind of monster i said probably the red kind and he said the original was the best and well i had to agree. Brandon is like a brother iv e known him since I was 4 and he was 7. now hes 16 and I'm 13 .i can still remember all the good times we had.

SUPERNATURAL

my favorite show is supernatural. Its about to brothers who ride around the country in a 67 impala.

They hunt demons and spirits and on occasion they will hunt a werewolf or vampire. I got started when my sister made me watch and Ive been hooked ever since. The brothers are SAM and dean Winchester who start out looking for the dad one weekend then SAM gets home his girlfriend dies because a demon. So SAM gets the inspiration to get back with his brother. In season two the story gets more intricate SAM begins to have psychic powers and then they search for other people like him and come up with Ava Andy and Weber but at the end of the season SAM gets stabbed in the back (literally) and dean ends up selling his soul to get back Sammy. then season three starts there just hunting random things until they find out about eve the demon with a claim on deans soul. they try to find her and get his soul back. but just before dean dies and the third season ends.

So in communication arts were doing a family project. I found out I'm from Russia. And the we came during the revolutionary war and the my ancestor met a Cherokee woman and they had a son. The son actually knew Charles Lee and he and Charles help start the revolutionary war. He was apparently a very brave soldier but the only proof he was ever alive was a letter he wrote to his dad, just before he and Charles started the war. I would've never thought that my history was so important. Its weird how little i go through compared to what the had to. I'm also related to Jessie James and have a picture of him and his gang on a carriage.picture from here

NIGHT IN THE WOODS

My favorite time of the year is definitely winter. Its very cold and snowy... Well not here but still. I like to run in the woods when its snowy. I remember about two years ago me and my friends went into the woods and it was late and snowy i cant quite remember the date but it was around January. So were walking through the woods then out of a house near the woods a man let his dog out of the house. It was a black lab and well uh.. lets just say that this dog wasn't the friendliest. So we walked up a natural incline in the woods and then spotted the dog it was simple because he was a black lab and it was very cold and snowing. So we turned around and started to run. So we were running then the highway came into line of site. So we ran across the highway and thought we were safe, then we started walking the long way home and again took the woods. but then we saw an old abandoned tricycle and locked car in the middle of the woods.

The mirror

When i was little we had an old mirror in the attic. Of course being a child i was frightened of well everything. But time past and i grew older and it came to a day when i was four. I was sitting at home and my mom was in the kitchen on the phone. I was watching T.V. ( not particularly certain on the show) but I was watching it enthused even. And then there was a knock at the door and my mom went to answer it. A man kept asking for water and then he my mom refused and closed the door. Then the man started pounding on the door. He eventualy started trying to open it. So my mom told me to go in the attic while she called 911 And i went in the attic and started to become anxious i looked at myself in the mirror. Eventually my mom came up and got me.

Hi ,I'm clearly Jacob Hartsell. I'm thirteen. I have two older sisters and an older brother. My older brother is stationed in Seattle, he's in the navy. I have two dogs and two parakeets. One dog is a black lab named Rosco. And the other dog is a smaller mix named, Moustache. I'm not really going to go into detail on the birds.My favorite car is a 67' Impala. Overall Computers

Computers was good this quarter and i did learn a ton. Timed typing test was fun cause i always tried to beat my high score. Blog post were okay. I never really liked the typing programs but probly just cause i was no good at them. Free times were the best and the word lessons were good to, but i did have my problems this. First of all im used to my ipad and never had computers as a class so this was hard for me to get used to. I did like computers this quarter though.

CARDINALS ARE BEATING THE NATIONALS!

Cardinals are beating the nationals and if they win one more game(which today a 3 pm) we will go to the championship in the NL. And not to brag but we got our best pitcher out and they have there worst so i think were going to win today cause WERE BEAST AND PWN EVERY SINGLE TEAM THATS IN OUR SIGHT. Sorry but im really pumped up right now just thinking about going to the world series. Meanwhile the reds and giants are going up against each other and who ever wins gets to go to the championship too. The yankees have to get one more win to get to the championship in the AL. Same with detroit so basically this is going to be a good playoff year

Zombie batman, cannibal Muppet's, whats this world coming to? Who ever thought the Muppet's eat people. Next thing you know barney will be a suicide bomber. Cards have clinched the second wild card and will face Altlanta Braves tommorow evening. The cardinals have a 88-75 record this season. Meanwhile down at the american league miguel Cabrera has won a tyriple crown, if you dont know what a triple crown it is when you led in homeruns, RBIs, and average, but officials say that mike trout sould win the mvp. Me, idont think so. Mike trount is a very good player but only about 10 people in over a 150 years have won a triple crown.

zombie teacher

My math teacher isnt dead, may i ask how? As much as i ask the sub she never answers, and either did other teachers when i asked them so she has to dead right? Apparently not, as she finally came back today. Everybody thought she either moved or she died. I thought she died because the teachers never did awnswer so i figured they dont want to let the students know, plus she would of told us she was moving. Its been 6 months and now she comes back, maybe shes a zombie.Naaa.

Chance for the cards!

The cardinals are still in it for the wild card and are 4 games up from the Brewers and Dodgers and if they get the wild card then we will face the Braves and I'm kind of scared cause the braves beat us alot. Still weve got a big opportunity to get to the play offs. Beltrans coming back and molina is still crusing the ball with a .322 averge. Plus Matt Holliday is batting .305, 27 home runs and 105 rbis. And even if we dont make the play offs we got really good youngsters

The cardinasl have just won a series agaist the braves and have won 3 straight games and are still in the wild card spot. Could the cards win another world series, I dont think so. Now dont get me wrong the cards are my favirate team but it very unlikely were going to win 2 straight, Plus some teams are overpowered. But if we get in the groove like last september then we have a strong chance of making it.While in the mean time the rams are 1 and 1 and blues are going to try to chase the stanly cup once more

I really don't know what to say about this picture, the only thing that comes to mind is measuring,or mathmatics. And math is by far my most hated subject, the only thing i like about math is that it going to help me in the future but as  for ow its boring. I got way off subject, i cant really say i hate measurement but i dont like it very much. And i dont like doing math problems including them.

Again were losing because of our pitching staff while our batting is doing fine now. I not sure we won last night against the padres but i do know that we lost 2 or 3 in a row so we need to start pitching right or were not going to win the wild card. While teams like the Reds, Nationals, Yankees, Giants, Rangers, and the White Sox are dominating the leagues.

A memory I would relive is my best baseball game where not only did i shutout when pitching but hit a double and make a diving catch for the final out  and we won the game. I loved this moment cause my team (the Athletics)was the laughing stock of the league cause we always lost so it felt good to win. At the end of the seson we were 3 and 13(3 wins 13 lose), but even if my team sucked i did enjoy the season and my team.

Labor day for me is just a sweet get off of school day, until now.I figured out that labor day was more than that. Its to celebrate people who basically have jobs and a thank you to them by givin them a day off. Also made over a hundred  years ago and was made by ethier Matt Maguire or Peter Mcguire. To bad adults dont get many days off besides that. Basically labor day is awesome

A Old Freind

it was early in January, i got a letter from my old class mate in junior high who i hadn't seen for 16 years. He was now in prison now and sent me this letter telling me about something but the problem was part of it was so i didn't know what he was trying to say, i eventually went over to the prison and went to talk to him, he told me how i got in and the good times we had together, and i had a pretty good time.

India is facing a terrible but embarrassing crisis, because girls/women cost more money, they are aborting them or killing as baby's.What do i think, that this is a stupid thing to do.Why is this the biggest problem India has, well i don't know.India government needs to do something about it though. I mean why cant they make the girls cost the same money instead of them costing more then the boys. I also think maybe we can donate some money for India, but that's kind of a stupid thing to donate to since its a dumb problem. They should be able to fix it there selves like maybe make the boys cloths or stuff a bit more, then make the girl a bit less or in all make them the same prices.Some places in India don't even have girl!  I mean what the heck That's pretty embarrassing. These past two weeks have gone by fast.Cardinals just won two out of three against the Reds in a series which is good because Reds are first in are division,were in second, but we are in the wild card race but we are having trouble thanks to Atlanta who are first for the wild card but if we get second we will face them to get in the play offs.I think we have a good chance of getting to the world series again because every body on the team is doing great right now especially Yadier Molina.

You might of not understand any of that jibberish cause I'm a huge cardinal fan and baseball its self. School fine so far, and sorry or needing help so much, im used to using my ipad cause i dont own a computer so  I own a ipad and it basically a computer for me only alot different. Thats pretty much all thats goin on.

Drums!

A drum set

I have a drum set. A standard drum set consists of a snare drum, bass drum, high tom, middle tom, low tom, high hat cymbal, and crash/ride cymbal. I have these parts and also a splash cymbal. The snare is a drum that has several hard strings to give it a unique sound. The bass drum is the biggest drum in the drum set. It is the lowest pitched drum and is played with a kick pedal. The high tom is a high-pitched drum, the middle tom is lower than the high tom and higher than the low tom. The low tom is a low pitched drum. The high hat is two cymbals that open and close. The crash cymbal is a big cymbal with a loud sound. The splash is a small cymbal with a high sound.

A Police Dog

Dogs are much better than cats. Dogs play fetch with you and sometimes even run with you. My favorite dog breed is the golden retriever. My other favorite breeds are basset hounds, German shepherd, border collies, and Labrador retrievers.  I have two dogs: a basset hound named Harriet, and a German shepherd named Max. I also like those cool police dogs who sniff out the criminals to help the police.

Today is teacher appreciation day at my school. I am going to talk about my favorite teachers and why they are good. My first teacher is Mr. Kinder. He is very funny. Once in my technology class, a pop-up appeared on my computer. The pop-up said: message from Mr. Kinder: Chill Out. The other good teacher is Mrs. Debolt. Mrs. Debolt is fun because she lets us play games on the computer after we are done with our assignments. These are my favorite teachers at our school.

I was kidnapped when I ran into four monsters. The one on the far left was the tallest, and his face looked like and easter island head. The second one to the left actually looked like a person. The second one to the right looked like he was a flower, but he grew into a person. The one on the right looked like he came from a different galaxy. The group of  monsters made me grow wings by the big monster levitating me in the air. I stayed in the air because the alien was using his anti-gravity ray. The flower monster made me follow the orders of the human. The human said that I was going to be the monsters' slave forever. At that moment, I grew wings...

Favorite Drink

My favorite drink is the orange slushie. I like orange slushies because the drink is frozen, unlike those average joe fountain drinks. Another reason I like orange slushies is that oranges are my favorite fruit. My favorite place to get a slushie is Sonic, because that's their specialty. The best thing to get at sonic is the slushie. Slushies are also available at movie theaters, but they only have two flavors. Orange is not available at movie theaters, that is why I like getting my slushies at sonic. That is why I like orange slushies.

Earth day was yesterday. Here are some ways to go green and save the Earth. Reusing is one way you can go green. You can reuse by not throwing away things that are still usable. Reducing is another way you can go green. You can reduce by not needlessly overusing things and only using what you need. Finally, recycling is a way you can go green. Recycling is taking recyclables to the recycling plant to be made into other recyclables.

Cheez-its RULE!

Cheez-its are my favorite cracker snack. I like how the chefs who make cheez-its bake the cheese. (The baking process makes the cheese dry) After the chefs make the right choice of baking the cheese, they sprinkle salt on the crackers. The salt gives a flavor other than baked cheese for the cracker. There is also a spicy flavor of cheez-its, and it's just as delicious as the original baked cheese flavor. They make the crackers spicy by adding Tobasco hot sauce. That is why I like cheez-its.

Bike Riding

One thing I like to do is ride my bike. I like riding my bike because I like riding down the biggest hill with it. I can also do tricks. One of my favorite tricks is the bunny hop. The bunny hop is when you lift both your front tire and your back tire off the ground. Another great trick is the long wheelie. It is when you lift your front tire off the ground and pedal to keep the wheel off the ground. (My record is 10 seconds) There are other cool tricks like back wheelies, peg wheelies, barspins, and spins. That is why I like to ride my bike.

Motivating Reward

The most motivating reward is steak. This is true because steak is my favorite food. I can eat 12 oz. of steak in one sitting. My favorite way steak is cooked is medium-rare. My favorite steakhouse is Texas Roadhouse. The only grillers who are better are my dad and my stepdad. I'd say the best kind of steak is round steak. Round steak has no fat. The opposite kind is cube steak. Cube steak has 25% fat. That is why I like steak.

Football!

My favorite sport is football. My favorite team is the Chicago bears. My favorite player is Bryan Urlacher. I like it when the wide reciever runs along the field for a deep pass, catches the ball in midair, and lands in the endzone while he is being tackled. I also like it when the quarterback hands the football off to the running back so the running back finds a hole and runs a touchdown, 80 yards away! That is why I like football.

How to be Healthy

A method to being healthy is going outside to exercise instead of being a couch potato. You could do that by riding your bike, playing sports, and much more! You are supposed to spend 60 minutes being active. If the weather isn't good enough for going outside, then you could go to a health club or a gymnasium. What you shouldn't do is stay inside for the whole day to eat junk food. If you have an exercising machine inside, you could exercise like that. Get active today!

Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the study of how the hunam body uses a workspace and its equipment. A bad habit I have in ergonomics is letting my wrists drop to the desk.Another bad habit I  have is leaning to close to the keyboard to type. My work station is not ergonomically sound because my desk isn't low enough to make my arms a 90 degree angle. I also have trouble seeing the top of the monitor because my desk is too high. People should have their upper body and lower body at a 90 degree angle while their backs are touching the back of the chair comfortably.
